Good Grades Recipe – 4 Ingredients You Need to Drastically Improve Your Grades

If you’re not doing as well as you’d like in school, don’t worry. Most of us don’t. Why is that? Because most of us were never taught how to get good grades in school. If you’re frustrated like I used to be, read this short “recipe” with the 4 ingredients you need to totally improve your grades. The good news is that you don’t have to be perfect in all 4 areas. But you should aim to be really good in 2 or 3.

1) Hard work

This one is first because it’s common sense. It was drilled into our heads since we were little kids. You have to work hard and be productive if you want to do well in school, right? Well that is sort of true. But if you have the other 3 ingredients nailed down, you won’t have to work as hard as other students. You ever heard of beating a dead horse? That’s what most students do. They assume that their grades are poor because they’re not working hard enough. So they study longer instead of studying smarter. Then they burn out and give up all together.

The Mind Needed To Study Effectively

Ever heard of the radical third-grade teacher in the ’60s named Jane Elliot? The day after Dr. King was assassinated, she wanted to discuss racism with her all-’white’ class in Riceville, Iowa. In this class, she tried out an experiment that drew mixed reactions from the locals in Riceville, and the impact of what she did reverberated throughout the country. (Below is a link to find out more on the most effective way for students to work…

She argued that there was strong scientific evidence to show that brown-eyed children were smarter, cleaner, and nicer than blue-eyed ones. When told this, the children who were ‘designated’ as inferior actually took on the behavior she described all these children to be like, they even demonstrated poor performance on tests and other class work. In contrast, those who were told they were smarter became more aggressive and the introverted ones came out of their shells. these students did better in class.

Although it was originally intended to be a lesson on discrimination, scientists stumbled on another discovery – that self-image has a lot to do with performance.

Perhaps, since your elementary grades, you’ve had classmates who were so confident and outgoing that they easily got by without studying as hard as you did. Or you probably had the same ideas as them, only the teacher didn’t call on you. This means that those classmates of yours are unconsciously harnessing their potentials by developing their positive self-image.

The question is, can you just take up any bachelor degree online program from any educational institution out there? Or perhaps it remains a wise decision to take one offered by the distinguished schools?

Attending Yale or Harvard could have you seeing your parents’ and your savings, while you hold on to the dream that the sacrifice will pay off with a job that gives you a fat check plus benefits. All because you got your degree from a revered institution.

Some point out that that promise is holds out for a few. No, taking up and finishing a bachelor degree online from the top universities might not end up granting you that high paying job of your dreams. This says a fellow at the Andrew W.
